Rod Warranty
We are delighted that you have chosen a Greys carbon/glass fibre rod. As an owner, you are entitled to take part in the Greys Rod Warranty and Repair Service. To do so, you need to register your rod within 60 days of purchase.
If you have not already done so, you may register your product through the link below. You will be required to create an account when registering.
You will receive an email confirming your registration.
Once registered, you are entitled for the lifetime of the product to repair or replacement (at our discretion) of damaged, broken, or defective rod sections.
The Greys Rod Warranty and Repair Service is in addition to your statutory rights, which cover manufacturing faults and mis-described goods during the 12-month period. Please retain proof of purchase.
How much does it cost?
Warranty Charges
Rods manufactured since January 2002 are covered by the Greys Rod Warranty and Repair Service. Claims are subject to:
- £32.50 handling, administration, return postage and packing charge (per claim).
A handling and repair/replacement fee will be charged for each claim. For current charges, see above or contact Customer Service.
Greys reserves the right to change fees without notice.
Customers are requested to retain proof of purchase to aid with claims.
How to Make a Claim in the UK
If the rod is under 12 months old, return it to the place of purchase with your receipt. The dealer will handle your claim.

Further Information
- You are responsible for sending the rod/section to Customer Service or your retailer.
- Return delivery in the UK is covered by Greys (surcharges may apply internationally).
- Repairs or replacements are at Greys’ discretion.
- Replacement parts may vary slightly in colour/material/specification.
- The warranty does not cover lost or stolen items.
- The warranty does not cover consequential losses.
- Warranty applies only to the original owner.
If your claim is valid, we will repair or replace the rod section(s). We are not liable for additional loss unless required by law.
If replacement sections are unavailable, we may offer a comparable rod at a discounted price.
All Other Products
All other Greys products are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing and material defects under normal use. This does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or consequential loss.
Making a Claim
For products under 12 months, return to the place of purchase with your receipt. The dealer will handle your claim.
