We are excited to announce a team event for the competition Fly Fisherman - 31st August & 1st September;
“The Greys Lochstyle Team Championships”

This two-day final will be held at Lake of Menteith and will welcome 17 Teams* of four to enjoy, what can be, an exceptional time of year to fish “top of the water” at the Lake.

Fishing will be carried out to international rules and full rules and entry requirements can be found here: International fly fishing rules on our rules and criteria page. Successful team applicants will be sent conformation of these rules prior to the competition along with a welcome pack and goody bag which we hope will be of use to you on the weekend!

The winning team will be determined by the largest combined catch over the two days and this will be made up of anglers catch bag weights with 2 fish retained and then fish returned afterwards, with each released fish being rewarded with 2lbs to the anglers bag.

Entries for this event will be selected, depending on demand, by a proportional representation of teams entering from different countries within the UK. With this competition being in its first year we will look to expand and run regional heats for 2025.

We are proud to fully sponsor this competition and as part of our commitment to the competition community, each group's entry payment only covers the Lakes costs, and must be paid directly to the fishery. The entry cost is £320 per team which ultimately covers the 2 days fishery costs only.

BBQ DINNER & DRINKS

A BBQ dinner and drinks will be provided when anglers come off the water on both days whilst the weigh in is being carried out. We hope this provides a great opportunity to socialise and share stories of your days and enjoy a beer with your boat partner.


Competition days are the 31st August and 1st September. Lake of Menteith have held practice boats for this event and these should be booked directly with the Lake.
