2026 Lochstyle Team Championship

In 2024, we proudly hosted the first-ever Greys Lochstyle Team Championship at the Lake of Menteith.

Seventeen teams of four anglers competed in a two-day final during a time of year known for exceptional top-of-the-water fishing. Over the two days, 948 fish were caught, with an average retained weight of over 4lb.

In 2025, we returned to the Lake of Menteith for the second championship, with all the action and exceptional sport captured by TNT Sports for a special episode of “On the Bank”.

Heat 2: Lough Lene, Ireland – 07/06/2026
Heat 3: Ladybower Reservoir, England – 05/07/2026
Final: Lake of Menteith, Scotland – 5th–6th September 2026

In 2026, we return once again with an all-new format based on your feedback.

  • Three qualification heats, plus a “wild card” qualification (England, Scotland & Ireland).
  • Full final coverage by TNT Sports.
  • Lakeside BBQ on both competition days.
  • Swag bags for competitors.
  • New prize table with £8,500 in cash.

As the official sponsor, we are committed to supporting the competition community and encouraging younger anglers.

There is no entry fee; anglers only pay for their fishing permit directly to the hosting fishery.

Updated Entry Format

Based on feedback, qualification is now more directly in the hands of anglers.

  • Top 3 teams from the 2025 final automatically qualify for the 2026 final.
  • England, Ireland, and Scotland heats each qualify 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
  • A 4th team from each heat is selected via a “wild card” draw.
  • Two additional wild card final places are reserved for Under 21 teams.

Under 21 Wild Card Entry: Register via the form below and select the U21 option. Successful teams will be announced via a live draw on Greys Fishing social media channels.

U21 teams may enter both a heat and the wild card draw, giving two chances to reach the final.
